Thanks to the SVMFG

I just returned from speaking to the Shenandoah Valley Music Festival Guild. Great lunch, great people! Most of all, it was held at the Holiday Inn Express where I lived last week. Now that's good karma.

Many thanks to Melissa Price for twisting my arm and getting me there. For more information about the Festival and the fabulous show they put on each summer, click here.

  1. Wow, Jason - what a laugh you've given us! I am Morgan's aunt - and we all have just started blogging. How funny for you to comment on her "review." Well, based on my sister's (Morgan's mom)recommendation, our entire family is reading or has read The Wednesday Letters - and I also bought Christmas Jar. So - love it or hate it... you are being read and discussed. Can't ask for anything better than that, right? Thanks for the funniest thing to happen to Morgan in quite a while - she is mortified ... and we are VERY entertained by it all.! Sheri

  2. That's too funny. She didn't think I had Internet access? :-)

Tell her not to worry at all, it's a hoot for me. And I truly love it when people share their opinions. That's the only way writers improve and create material that their audience connects with.

It's OK that not everyone likes my books, it gives me a challenge to write something they might like the next time. And if they never like the kind of books I write, that's OK too. My wife likes cottage cheese, I'd rather shave my head and be launched from a cannon than eat even a bite.

Watch this, it gives you an idea of where I'm coming from:
