Just about the most fun I've ever had on stage

I have always wanted to thank my wife for being such a trooper about my ridiculous travel schedule. I finally had a chance in Sacramento yesterday at a Time Out for Women event. Everyone was such a good sport about it! Watch the short clip below:

Thanks to everyone for making that such a fantastic day!

  2. They sure did. And Kodi smiled big when she saw it last night. That's the good news.

The bad news is I flew home next to Wings Man.

  5. I was one of those women at the conference. I had such a great time. I started reading your book that weekend. Last night my grandmother passed away and I just wanted to let you know that yoiur book has touched me personally with one of the letters. It is found on pg.130. The part that brought me to tears was the last 3 paragraphs. She was in a lot of pain before her death and those few paragraphs just summed up all of the emotions that I am feeling right now. THANK YOU so much for writing this book and coming to Sacramento!

  6. Chelle Belle, I am so sorry about your grandmother. I hope she lived a long and joyful life!

I'm truly honored you enjoyed the book. Hearing from folks like you makes it worth every long flight and night away from my family.

    So THANKS!

  8. Hey J,
You should send me some pics of Kodi and your kids and let me make a video for you to present to her! I guarantee she would LOVE it!

  10. I was at the conference too. You are a wonderful speaker. I appreciate the handwritten letter too and have one that I carry in my scripture bag to church every Sunday. The woman who wrote it has since passed on which makes it all the more special. My daughter also LOVES mail. We will continue to write people! It's so fun.

  12. I was there in Sacramento too, and I thought that the video to your wife was one of the sweetest things I ever saw. Of course, I had to tell my husband all about it when I came home and got on the webcam with him. He is overseas right now with the military, so we do most of our communicating through daily webcam chats. But we also really have a strong appreciation for handwritten letters. In fact, the night before he left (in January), he went around the house hiding little notes for me to find after he left. I've kept all of the notes right where he left them so that I come across them every day and remember how much he loves me!

  13. Jason, I was at the event and absolutely LOVED it!! I had not been to a Time Out event before, and I will absolutely try my hardest to attend many, many more. You speakers brought a great spirit into the room. I have never felt the spirit as strongly as I did this past weekend. Thank you so much for that! I am inspired to write hand written letters, rather than just email. Thank you for that. Also, I have to admit, I am also one of those that constantly hits the Send/recieve button on my email, and glances out the window through the middle of the day to see if the mail man is coming!!! :)
