Home

Doesn't that one word say it all?

It's so nice after an incredibly hectic two months to finally sleep in my own bed and tuck my kids in. I returned home early yesterday morning (2:30) and I'm still walking around in a state of disbelief. Where are the wake up calls? The chocolate on pillows? The beds making themselves magically? The little soaps in boxes?

I'll have much more to say very soon, but for now I wanted to draw your attention to a contest I'm running over at PoliticalDerby.com to celebrate a friend's new book.

Click here to win a copy of The Paper Bag Christmas by Kevin Milne.

Also thought you might enjoy this clip my publisher produced a few weeks ago for the Barnes & Noble web site.

More soon!

  1. Welcome back home to the lovely Shenandoah Valley! I think you missed most of the pretty leaves - the few that were left blew away today! I want you to know that I absolutely loved Recovering Charles and have spent a lot of time thinking about my second verse. I start reading Christmas Jars with my class next week! Enjoy your time at home with your family.

  3. Okay, so I'm very disappointed.:*( I went to the mall that has a book store in it, and they didn't have your books... I'll keep looking. Surely Barnes and Noble has it, right?

  4. So sorry Sarah! Definitely BN will have the new one in hardcover, Wednesday Letters in paperback, and probably Christmas Jars will show on the holiday table soon...

  5. Thank you so much for your talk at the TOFW In San Antonio. I love writing letters and I still have all the ones that I got from my grandparents. They are the best treasure that I have. Well except for the ones that my husband wrote me. Thank you so much for inspiring us to write the "old fashion way".
