Recovering Charles theme song released

I've hinted at this before, but it's finally time for the official release of the theme song for Recovering Charles. It's called, "Love Me if You Can."

The music and lyrics are by my ridiculously talented good friend, Cherie Call. The vocals are by newcomer Paul Jacobsen. The song fits the book's central theme so perfectly! Truly, I'm so blessed to have partnered with them on this project.

Can't wait to hear what you think...

  1. I have read the book three or four times now (different drafts) and think I know its main message as well as several sub-messages. This song does truly seem to fit the story very well. I believe the vocal as well as the production makes it sound truly professional. I could definitely imagine this song as a theme for the Recovering Charles movie (which I am sure will come)

  2. The song is great. Soft, Norah Jones like piano with country like lyrics. Makes a great mix.

  3. Love it. Not only does it complement the book perfectly, it's gorgeous on its own. My husband listened to it and loved it too.

  4. I clicked to listen, not really knowing what to expect. Wow--I was completely blown away. LOVE the blusy sound! Great vocals and harmony. As "wrigjef" mentioned, I could absolutely envision this song as part of a movie soundtrack.

Congratulations. And way to go Cheri!

  5. Loved the song. It's especially cool how it molds itself to different perspectives. It works as a father to son ballad or from one lover to another.

  12. What an awesome song!!! Can't wait for the book...haven't seen it in Texas (Pasadena) yet. Comments on The Wednesday Letters...already did that months ago. I'm the one who has family living in Woodstock and can relate to the hangouts! I think also ask you to quit reading the email and finish the book!!!

    When will it be here???

    Have a blessed one!
